What Can Parents Do to Prepare his Little One to Go to A Preschool?

When a child turns 2 or 3, parents start thinking about sending him to a preschool so that he can learn to adjust to a new environment. They want him to learn all the basic skills that must be needed in a primary school. But it is not easy to convince a kid to go to school as they think that it is a bad place and they will not enjoy it.

There are children who can be easily convinced but there are others who are stubborn and are reluctant to go to school. So, what can parents do to convince such children to the preschools? Here are a few tips that can help you prepare your child to go to a preschool or kindergarten.

  1. The first thing you can do is to have a conversation with your child. Ask him what does he expects at a school, what are the things that scare him, why he is not willing to go to school? When you will ask him these questions he will be able to answer you honestly and this way you will be able to find the ways that can help you to convince him to attend a school.
  2. Take him to the school and introduce him to the teachers or caretakers who are going to attend him. Show him the playground, buses, toys and all the positive things of the school that can allure him to go to school. Tell him about the advantages of attending a school.
  3. Prepare your children to stay away from you for some time. You can ask other members of the family to take him out for a while.  Enroll your child in other activities such as swimming lessons or story time at your local library.  It will help them to listen to and follow the instructions of others. This way he will be able to feel comfortable without you and will make it easy for him to spend most of his hours in the school.
  4. Read him good books about school and tell him stories revolving around the kids going to school. You can tell him how brilliant, brave and good citizen a child becomes after attending a school. You can tell him that by attending school he would be able to make new friends who will play with him.
  5. Go for school shopping, buy him a bag, geometry box, uniform, and toys of his choice. Apart from that prepare him to follow a regular routine. Ask him to wake up early and teach him the steps of getting up, dressed, fed, and out the door. Teach your children to follow the instructions of the teachers.
  6. Explain the time table to your child and tell him that he won’t be far away from you for a long time and he will be back home in only few hours. Give him his favorite snacks and chocolates for a few days until he adjusts to the new environment.

Effective Ways to Enhance A Child’s Imagination Power

Imagination and thoughts allow kids to improve their skills and creativity. Growing your child’s imagination strength aids them to get encouraged to learn and study. Enhancing a kid’s personality depends on his teachers and parents as they pick up what they observe and listen to from their elders. According to a report by Montessori Academy CA, here are some fundamental factors that can aid you to boost your child’s imagination.

Tell Stories

Stories and tales are very important to allow your kid to imagine more. When describing a story, parents should make it more interesting and fun by adding questions, suspense, and jokes. Ask your little one to speculate the next segment or express the character’s title in the tale. It will aid them to listen to things sensibly and carefully.

Art

Any type of art like sculpting, molding, drawing, and painting are supportive to ignite a child’s imagination. Allow them to participate in a creative art session to improve their artistic side.

Exhibition centers and Museum

Parents can visit an art gallery or a museum and exhibition center along with their children. Visiting such places can aid them to drive their kid’s attention towards ancient times and other amazing facts. While visiting a museum, you should ask your child to observe and point out his favorite thing. Now you need to observe the stuff and learn about what drives your kid. Later, you can create a story about that creation and ask your little one to describe the same.

Encourage them to interact

Instead of allowing your kid to play mobile games or watch TV for hours, you need to speak to them. Pick any topic such as his favorite game, best teacher at school or his favorite cartoon characters and talk to him about these topics. This will help you to enhance your child’s communication skills.

Make the most of toys and other props

Props and toys are supportive of increasing your kid’s imagination. There are several enthralling items at your house that you can use to craft a story. Qualities Of A Good Infant Day Care Program

Choosing an infant care center for your little one involves asking many questions and being attentive. It must be a well-thought decision as you will be leaving your child for the whole day at the care center. For many parents, high-quality infant care protects a kid’s health, keep the little one happy, and the program should be affordable and conveniently situated. There are several factors that define the quality of an infant care:

    Healthy diet and nourishment
    Hygiene and safety
Chances for rest and quiet play
    A great environment for children
    Outdoors opportunities and active play
    Positive communications with grown-ups
    Emotional growth support
Sensitive and caring staff for children care
Practices to help kids in positive interaction with others
Development for social, cognitive, language and motor skills through outdoor activities
    Communication with parents
